Challenge
In December 2023, Hill Helicopters tasked us with delivering a high-profile launch event for their HX50 prototype. The challenge was to orchestrate a red-carpet event that not only showcased the new helicopter but also met the high expectations of a live audience and virtual viewers. Key requirements included:
- Full Production Management: Overseeing all elements from furniture and graphics to live streaming and on-site AV.
- Broadcast-Quality Live Stream: Providing a seamless, high-definition broadcast of the event to a global audience.
- Complex Technical Setup: Implementing a sophisticated rigging system, large projection screens, and custom LED light boxes.
- Logistical Coordination: managing the vehicle movements across the vast event, including multiple trucks of rigging, AV and two full-sized helicopter prototypes
- Draping and SFX: Design and implication of a large drape system, including a kabuki drop reveal for the main event
- Seating: Production Live designed an supplied a full tiered seating solution
