Challenge
In 2021, Hill Helicopters sought our expertise to deliver a high-profile hybrid event for the launch of their HX50 concept, to raise funds and get buyers interested. The key challenges included:
- Hybrid Event Coordination: We were tasked with creating a seamless experience for both live and online audiences. This required integrating complex technical elements to ensure smooth streaming and high-quality presentations.
- Detailed Production Management: The event required a full red carpet setup, including furniture, graphics, and on-site audiovisual equipment. Additionally, live filming production needed to be managed to capture the event’s key moments.
- High-Profile Audience: The event was to be attended by notable figures, making it essential to deliver a flawless experience. Positive feedback was crucial, given the significant announcements being made.
- Unusual Venue: The event was held in Hill’s new warehouse facility, which created some challenges and hurdles, in terms of working in a fully operating warehouse, and ensuring the facilities needed to delivery the event.
Outcome
- Production Live successfully addressed these challenges, delivering a highly successful event:
- Comprehensive Event Production: We managed all aspects of the event production, from setting up a red carpet and high-quality AV equipment to handling live streaming and filming. This ensured that the event was visually impressive and technically sound.
- Positive Reception: The event received excellent feedback from both guests and staff, with many praising the smooth execution and engaging presentation by CEO Jason Hill. The success of the event was highlighted by the client, who described it as “couldn’t have gone better.”
Continued Collaboration:
Following the event’s success, we were re-engaged to handle a follow-up event in the summer of 2022, demonstrating our ability to build lasting client relationships and deliver consistent results.
The following event was again held at their warehouse, but at an even greater scale, with a marquee, generators, and an LED video wall added.
